ANTIQUE IRISH LACE WEDDING GOWN

Such a rare a fabulous find! This one is from my personal collection. When I acquired her she was not wearable, but the ‘bones’ were good. One of the best examples of carefully crafted Mixed Lace Gowns I have come across in a long time. I have completely restored and re-worked this exceptional piece to make wearable for the Modern Bride. Antique Lace and closures have been added through the back. A Net Lace slip with a double ruffle has been attached. Look closely at the pictures of the underskirt as there is a casing to add silk ribbon through, for additional interest. I have decided to leave that to the new owner. Classic Belle Epoque styling with every attention to detail. The precise placement of the handmade lace insets weight the skirt and molds over the hips beautifully. The color is a light beige with faint age related tea stains. Lace pieces vary in color, but are a close match. This Gown has been a labor of Love. I have spent countless hours reviving this Beauty and I am so pleased to present her to you.
