Our caftans are an effortless way to elevate your day-to-day, lounging, or work from home, with an easy silhouette that you’ll reach for over and over. They are made to order, by hand, in our Chicago studio.

These dresses have a simple v-neck, banded dropped shoulder sleeves, side slits, and a slight high-low hem.

We also offer the option for a short length, which can range from below the knee to mid-thigh length, depending on your height.

Our caftan with a nursing friendly neckline is the best new mom gift! It features a higher rounded neckline with a hidden snap placket with a 10″ opening for easy access.

PLEASE NOTE: In the interest of sustainability, we chose to only make representative samples for the short and nursing neckline options. The pictures are here to illustrate the styles. If you order either option, it will come in the main fabric on the listing. Please reach out with questions.

About our fabrics: We are so proud to source our fabric from a vendor in India who supports the work of local craftspeople. Their work is beautiful and it is absolutely the most comfortable fabric ever. There is natural variation in the pattern and texture, so please keep that in mind. You may see imperfections here and there, but we think that is what makes it special!

You can machine wash these garments in cold or warm water. We have tumble-dried the fabric after pre-washing, so you will not see any shrinkage if you put it in the dryer, but hanging to dry will give you the best result. Hang it up, gently smooth out the wrinkles, and you’ll be good to go.
